New expert report on the operation conditions for the portable DVIN-1 system was prepared by The Ramzaev Research Institute of Radiation Hygiene–Rospotrebnadzor Head Test Center.

At the end of May the tagged neutron method was tested in the rapid elemental analysis of typical rocks on the Olkhon geodynamic test ground on the bank of Lake Baikal.

New version 3.0 of the explosives detection software for the DVIN-1 detecting system has been successfully tested.
Its main improvements are as follows:
- New data processing algorithms are developed which allow for the Compton scattering and subtract the random coincidence background.
- Detector calibration is abandoned, which made the measurements appreciably simpler.
- The number of false alarms is considerably decreased under complicated background conditions when the item under inspection is close to the wall or on the floor.
- The data acquisition rate indicator is added to the operator's interface, which allows specifying the current stage of data acquisition or analysis.
- Voice-message report on the results of the analysis is added.
The version 3.0 software is installed on new DVIN-1 detectors. The software of the previous version is updated to this new version during the maintenance of the detectors.
