Registration electronics is arranged as a single board of standard PCI card size with possibility of installation in PCI-slot of personal computer and working under its control using PCI-bus for information exchange. Personal computer is used for primary processing of information read from α- and γ-detectors, creating data files for their transferring via ETHERNET onto personal computer for final processing and providing results.

Signal registration system from α- and γ-detectors is based on the principle of pulse form digitization with the following calculation of their time and amplitude characteristics. Software package supporting work of registration electronics includes drivers for PCI-interface, events selection and processing program, data file creating program as well as programs required for electronic block modes setting. To provide required speed of data communication via PCI-bus interface is operating in the mode of direct access channel to memory. This is the main requirement for driver supporting operation of the device. When selected data buffer is full, direct access channel is switched to free space and filled part is processed by selection and processing program. Recording and processing are simultaneous.

All software supporting electronic block operation works under LINUX operation system.
